LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 26, 2026) — Kentuckians packed the room in Pewee Valley as Republican Attorney General Russell Coleman officially launched his 2027 re-election campaign, kicking off the next chapter in his fight to keep Kentucky safe, strong, and rooted in conservative values.

Joined by more than 100 supporters from every corner of the Commonwealth, Coleman—one of President Trump’s strongest allies in Kentucky—celebrated the record his administration has built while laying out an ambitious vision for a second term focused on protecting families, supporting law enforcement, and defending the Kentucky way of life.

“Alongside the law enforcement, parents, and supporters in this room, we’ve accomplished so much for Kentucky in just a few short years. We’ve backed the Blue, taken on illegal immigration, combatted the drug threat, protected our kids, fought for Kentucky values, and promoted American energy dominance,” Coleman told the standing-room-only crowd. “But the job’s not done. We must continue this fight on behalf of every Kentuckian.”

Demonstrating strong grassroots and financial momentum, the Coleman campaign announced it has more than $500,000 cash on hand, positioning the campaign to build an aggressive statewide effort as Coleman seeks another term protecting Kentucky as Attorney General.

The launch event featured a lineup of Kentucky leaders who have worked alongside Coleman throughout his first term, including Agriculture Commissioner Jonathan Shell, 51st Attorney General Daniel Cameron, Commonwealth’s Attorney Courtney Baxter, Lyon County Sheriff Brent White, and crime victim advocates Krista and Navada Gwynn.

“Russell Coleman is a fighter. He’s a staunch conservative. And most importantly, he delivers results,” said Agriculture Commissioner Jonathan Shell. “He’s been relentless in defending Kentucky values, standing up for our farmers and rural communities, and never backing down when our way of life is under attack.”

Sheriff Brent White praised Coleman’s unwavering support for Kentucky law enforcement. “Kentucky law enforcement has no better friend than Attorney General Russell Coleman. He has the experience, the integrity, and the grit to support us as we protect Kentucky families. I’m proud to serve alongside AG Coleman.”

Closing the rally just days before America celebrates its 250th birthday, Coleman reflected on the promise of Kentucky and the people who inspire him to continue the fight.

“Kentuckians are the unstoppable force behind America’s greatness. You put a fire in my belly to launch this campaign. It is my honor to protect those who protect you and to fight for you, your families and the future of all Kentuckians.”
