‘Russell is the right choice to tackle our Commonwealth’s biggest challenges as Attorney General’
CRESTWOOD, Ky. (Dec. 27, 2022) – Kentucky House Speaker David Osborne and Senate President Robert Stivers announced today their joint endorsement of Republican Attorney General candidate Russell Coleman. Speaker Osborne and Senator Stivers know Coleman is the most qualified Attorney General candidate in Kentucky’s history, and they look forward to partnering with him in Frankfort to keep families safe.
“As our next Attorney General, Russell Coleman is the only candidate with the experience, the ability and the conservative principles necessary to tackle the challenges facing our Commonwealth,” said Speaker Osborne. “I’m proud to give him my complete endorsement and look forward to working with him to lock up violent criminals, stop the flow of deadly drugs and to uphold our Kentucky values in Frankfort.”
“Russell is the right choice to tackle our Commonwealth’s biggest challenges as Attorney General, and every Republican who Backs the Blue and believes in the rule of law, I hope will join me,” said Senator Stivers. “I’ve worked with Attorneys General of both parties, and there is no one more qualified to be Kentucky’s top law enforcement officer on Day One.”
Last month, Speaker Osborne and President Stivers led Republicans to another huge election victory that expanded the GOP’s supermajorities in both chambers. Coleman, a former U.S. Attorney and FBI Special Agent, has spent his career prosecuting criminals and securing justice for families. Since launching his campaign this summer, Coleman has raised more than $500,000.
In addition to Speaker Osborne and Senator Stivers, eight more Kentucky leaders also announced their support for Russell Coleman’s campaign today. They join U.S. Senator Rand Paul, the Kentucky State Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) and over 115 national and Kentucky conservatives, law enforcement leaders and prosecutors who have endorsed Coleman to be the Commonwealth’s next top cop.
