‘Russell will be an indispensable partner’
CRESTWOOD, Ky. (September 27, 2022) – Congressman Brett Guthrie, a conservative champion for Kentucky’s 2nd District in Washington, announced his endorsement of Russell Coleman for Attorney General today. As a former U.S. Attorney, Coleman is the most qualified candidate ever to run for Kentucky Attorney General and will bring his experience and conservative values to be Kentucky’s top cop.
“I’m proud to endorse Russell Coleman to be Kentucky’s next Attorney General. He will get to work on Day One protecting Kentucky families and upholding pro-life, pro-family, pro-Second Amendment values,” Congressman Guthrie said. “Russell will put his experience in law enforcement to work to build a safer and stronger Kentucky that Backs the Blue and tackles the scourge of illegal drugs flowing across Biden’s open border into Kentucky communities. I worked with Russell when he was U.S Attorney for West Kentucky, and he proved time and again to be an exceptional leader who gets big things done.”
Coleman continues to rack up major endorsements in his campaign for Attorney General, including Kentucky Congressman Andy Barr and the Kentucky State FOP this month alone. A full list of Coleman’s nearly 100 endorsements from local, state and federal officials can be found here.
“Congressman Brett Guthrie is a steady leader who stands up to liberal policies that hurt Kentucky families, like the Biden Administration’s open border disaster,” said Russell Coleman, Republican candidate for Attorney General. “I’m grateful for the support of such a fine public servant. Together, we will fight for a secure border that stops the flow of crime and illegal drugs into Kentucky communities, and work to give future generations an even stronger, safer Kentucky.”
Coleman continues traveling the Commonwealth speaking with Kentuckians about his plan to keep Kentucky families safe as the next Attorney General.
“With violent crime on the rise and deadly drugs all too present in our neighborhoods, Kentucky needs an Attorney General who will Back the Blue, put criminals behind bars and work every day to keep your family safe. If I have the honor to be Kentucky’s next Attorney General, that’s exactly what I plan to do” Coleman continued. “I look forward to continuing to listen to hardworking Kentuckians across our Commonwealth and earning their support.”
